Build a study plan around your PDF guides
Combine reading, active recall, hands-on practice and regular review in a practical certification study plan.
Step 1: Create a knowledge checklist
Start with the exam provider’s objectives and match PDF chapters to those topics. Mark what you know, what needs review and what is entirely new. Spend time according to your gaps rather than treating every chapter equally.
Step 2: Recall what you read
After each section, close the guide and explain the main ideas in your own words. Record what you cannot explain clearly and check it against the guide and official documentation.
Step 3: Practise in real scenarios
Cloud, networking and security topics benefit from hands-on labs. Watch costs and keep test environments isolated. Keep short notes on results, mistakes and what you learned.
Step 4: Review and adjust
Revisit your checklist and lab notes each week. Prioritise topics where errors recur, adjust your schedule to actual progress and check the exam version again before your attempt.
